(Ellera Umbra, PG, Italy). Men and Women formal wear (leather, Furs and Woven fabrics),
• February 1977: Designer and Senior Patter Maker at “Speed Mode” in Padova. Top company in terms of Motorcycle clothing (Leather, Waterproof, protective garments, etc,),
• March 1979: Chief designer in “Americanino” company: important European sportswear company during the end of seventy and eighties. I was employed in Dress Idea company: it was a branch of Americanino group responsible to take care all the development of the collections (Men, Women, Boy, Girl),
• 1981: promoted like partner in the company for small share holding part. The property has given me this for my capability and dedication in my job,
• 1984: Dress Idea Company has been incorporated in the the Americanino Group and I have been promoted Manager,
• Between 1984 and 1986, in the same time with my job, I was teacher of “Professor in Design and Pattern making” in the same Institute of Technology where I was graduated soome years before,
• September 1984: I have founded my Design Studio named “ Studio Italia Mora S.r.l.”. Started my consulting offering based in : Design (moods of collections, sketches, selection of fabrics, colour tendences, etc), base Patterns, Prototypes,Grading instructions, Graphics). My office still operating and during this time our main customers have been: Benetton, Diesel, Replay, Murphy & Nye, Goldwin, Tecnica Group, etc).
The number of employees has been at the maximum 20 persons: all graduates.
• I worked for the Murphy & Nye like Chief Designer and Product Manager for 24 years since 1884. It has been my main collaboration and, in the same time since 1992, for Goldwin Japan directly with Mr Homma and Mr Watanabe (The North face Japan).
• April 1987: I founded a twin company named “Progetti Contemporanei
S. r.l.” for increase the service in terms of R&D of special accessories (watertight zipper, Titanium Buttons, Graphite and high tech materials),
• September 1978: Design Award at “International Motorcycle Expo” in Milano for invention of: Pleastic protections sealed with MTP for backbone and shinbone integrated in the Leather suit and Motocross trouser.
• 1991: All technical garments of Italian Challenger Crew “Il Moro di Venezia” for the “America’s Cup”, the oldest sailing competition. The boat won the “Louis Vittin Cup” in San Diego California, USA,
• 1993: I started my collaboration with Goldwin, a big group in Sportswear, like consulting for their brands: The North face, Helly Hansen, Goldwin, etc. This collaboration is still operational,
• 2001: “Industrial Design Winner” in Norway and France for a project named “IMS”, Interactive Modular System, commissioned by Helly Hansen Workwear,
• 2005: Giovanni Soldini, important italian sailor, for the “Vandee Globe Race”, alone regatta around the world, worned with all technical garments developed under my design and direction,
• 2006: Design of all supplying for “32nd America’s Cup” in Valencia, Spain,
• 2006: Technical garments for the Challenger Teams: China, Germany and New Zealand ,
• 2007: Mr Simonetti, “La Martina” founder, appoint me his rappresentative for European operations,
• 1987-Feb.2017: Chief Designer and Owner of Progetti Contemporanei Srl Product consulting company (Nanamica, Goldwin, Murphy & Nye, Henri LloYd (Special item), etc),
• From March 2017 : Consulting Free lance,
My future career will be concentrated to get one more important experience: to work in another country in an strong company with selected and ambitious staff for an important strategic planning of worldwide expansion. My professional background is very high in many functions of garment business and my knowledge of the most important markets is updated every month through my several trip around the world. All the business contacts (Americans, Japanese, European customers) teach me day by day in different approaches for solving the problems. I apply the modern leadership methods (through staff motivation and involvement in both decision-making and target-setting, clarity in communication, and easy personal inter-relations).
